Ecological Policy

Ecological Policy

“SP Group” {TTK-Eos} Refinery is guided by the notion of minimizing the impact of the refinery’s production process on the environment in the development and renovation of its facilities; these issues are part and parcel of the refinery’s business activity management system.

We have implemented various ecological policies to minimize our environmental impact. Some of these policies include:

1. Emission reduction: We have implemented measures to reduce air emissions, such as installing emission control devices and optimizing processes to minimize the release of pollutants like sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and volatile organic compounds.

2. Waste management: We have implemented proper waste management practices to minimize the generation of hazardous waste and ensure its safe disposal. This includes recycling and reusing materials whenever possible.

3. Water conservation: We have implemented water conservation measures to reduce water usage and minimize the discharge of wastewater. This can include implementing water recycling systems, using advanced water treatment technologies, and optimizing processes to minimize water consumption.

4. Energy efficiency: We strive to improve energy efficiency by implementing energy-saving technologies and optimizing processes. This reduces greenhouse gas emissions and helps conserve natural resources.

5. Environmental monitoring: We also conduct regular monitoring of air, water, and soil quality to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and identify any potential environmental risks or impacts.

6. Community engagement: We engage with local communities to address their concerns, provide information about their environmental performance, and collaborate on initiatives to protect the environment and improve community well-being.

7. Research and development: We constantly invest in research and development to develop cleaner and more sustainable refining processes, technologies, and products. This includes exploring alternative energy sources and renewable feedstocks.

8. Compliance with the environmental protection laws and regulations of the Kazakhstan Republic;

9. Reporting on the environmental protection to the employees of the Company and other parties concerned.

Overall, We are continuously working towards minimizing their environmental footprint and adopting more sustainable practices to mitigate the impact of their operations on the environment.
