Sustainability Reports

The Refinery strives for transparency and to raise awareness among interested parties about the outcomes of its operations for sustainable development. “SP Group” {TTK-Eos} recognizes the practice of annual non-financial corporate reporting disclosure.

“SP Group” reports on sustainable development are addressed to its stakeholders, which include investors, representatives of public and municipal authorities, employees, partners, and clients, public and environmental organizations, scientific and educational institutions, and a diverse range of Kazakhstan and foreign citizens.

The reports cover a wide range of topics, including industrial safety, occupational safety and health, environmental control, climate change mitigation, digital transformation, innovations, personnel development, social security, and the contribution to the social and economic development of the presence regions.

The following is being applied by the Refinery as a methodological basis:

-Sustainability Reporting Standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI Standards edition);

-UN Global Compact principles;

-IPIECA/API Guidelines for Voluntary Reporting on Sustainable Development in the Oil and Gas Sector (2016);

-The Kazakhstan Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs’ Basic Performance Indicators (2008).
